Your Certificate of Completion is issued from (and accessible through) the Thinkific Platform immediately upon completion.
Would you like to have a sense of calm when you give instructions, run interesting discussions and keep your learners busy and activated?
In this session, we will focus on the skill of giving clear instructions: seems easy… but can be the thing that brings educators undone. Together we will try some strategies to improve confidence in this important area.
We will explore the art of planning and running interesting smart group discussions that avoid the dreaded silence or a sense of learner boredom !
We will also look at proven strategies to make PowerPoint your friend as a learning resource, not something that will bore your learners senseless!
Together we will investigate ways to read the room and gauge learner interest and activity. This way you can ensure that your learners stay in the learning zone and not get sidetracked.
We will complete our session with an innovative opportunity for Reflective Practice that you can use with your learners
Once you're enrolled, you have 90 days to complete your MLB Recording via our LMS platform - Thinkific.
You will be sent a confirmation link via email (just like any other Velg Training event) and this link will connect you to the Thinkific platform. You simply need to input your username and create a password.
Once logged into Thinkific, your MLB recording will be visible on the dashboard
This asynchronous PD activity won't appear in your VET PD profile - but your Certificate of Completion is issued instantly upon completion of the course.
The 'Date Issued' on your Certificate is recorded in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For local Australian time, please add the relevant time offset (e.g., +9.5 hours for ACST)
