Training Package reform is reshaping the VET landscape — and Template B is at the centre of this shift. The new Applied Knowledge and Skills template moves beyond task-based units and introduces broader, capability-focused outcomes that demand a fresh approach to delivery and assessment.
This session gives RTO leaders and practitioners a clear, practical understanding of what Template B is, how it differs from traditional unit structures, and what it means for designing and implementing learning and assessment. Through real examples, simple frameworks, and a short interactive activity, participants will learn how to interpret Template B units, build capability-rich learning experiences, and confidently deliver training that aligns with the future direction of VET.
Please note* To protect the integrity of the session, the use of AI notetakers or any third-party recording tools is not permitted. Click here if you would like to find out more.
