In the final session, we focus on the assessment systems, tools and review processes that commonly contribute to assessment non-compliance within RTOs.
Using the issues repeatedly identified through audit and regulatory activity as a starting point, this session takes a higher-level view of the system weaknesses that allow poor quality assessment practices to occur and persist.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Common issues impacting the quality and effectiveness of assessment tools
- Why delivery methodology can impact valid evidence collection
- Why validation and review activities sometimes fail to identify significant problems
- The role organisational capability, oversight, and continuous improvement processes play in supporting quality outcomes
